Q: Can my child play in FNLL without living in its boundary lines?

A: Yes, but only under very specific circumstances:

If your school address falls within our boundary, or

If you played AND lived within FNLL boundaries, and then you move outside of the boundary, you can remain in FNLL under a II(d) waiver. If you this applies to you, please contact our player agent and they will help ensure you can remain in our league.

Q: How do I know which level of play my child will be in?

A:  Players are sorted into divisions based on their "league age." Those under league age 8 are grouped by age alone.  Before each season, we evaluate players aged 8 and up on their fielding, throwing, and hitting skills.

Our Division Info section explains the different levels of play and the ages for each division.

Q: Is there an opportunity for physically or mentally disabled children to play Little League?
A:  Yes, through the Challenger Division. There are no age or residency restrictions.

Q: When are practices and games held?

A:  Spring games are generally twice a week: one weekday and one Saturday. Fall games are on a weekday and Sunday. Practice is usually once a week, set by the manager.

Q: How long does the season last?

A:  The regular Spring season, including practices and games, typically spans from March 1 to the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. The AA has a season-ending tournament that adds an extra week, while the AAA and Majors divisions participates in the Tournament of Champions, extending their season by 10-12 days. Games are usually not scheduled during Spring Break, except for rain makeups. The developmental "Fall Ball" season kicks off right after Labor Day and runs through early November.
