Welcome to the home of Folsom National Little League!
Now that tryouts are complete, teams are being formed. The next big event on the calendar is Family Night on February 10th at 7pm (Folsom Community Center). On this night, teams will be announced, players can meet their managers and coaches, and they will receive their ball caps.
February is a big month for training and preparation. Managers and coaches will be busy with clinics and training in order to be ready for March 1st when the fields are opened for practices.
In addition, we have a pitching clininc and a catcher's clinic scheduled for February 13th and 14th respectively. The pitching clinic is for AA, AAA, and Major players (the first three divisions that the kids pitch), and will be taught by Folsom National's own John Alkire from the University of Tennessee and the Detroit Tigers organization. On Sunday the 14th, catchers from Sacramento State University, along with John, will be here for sessions with players in the A, AA, AAA, and Major divisions.
