FNLL and Folsom Softball Club (FSC) are looking for teenagers to participate in our Teens for Hire Program, which
trains and employs teenagers who are interested in working the snack bars during the Spring 2025 season!
Candidates for these paid positions must:
- Be between 14-18 years of age, as this program is designed specifically for high school students.
(Note: Per California state law, an individual must be a minimum of 14 years of age.)
- Have reliable transportation (or have someone that can drive them to the snack bars).
- Be responsible and dependable.
- Know how to work the BBQ (or be willing and able to learn).
- Be able to use all the equipment in the snack bar (on-the-job training is provided).
- Be able to keep track of daily sales and count money (to make change and count end-of-the-day sales).
- Be able to keep track of the teams and/or the parents for which they are working.
- Dress appropriately as they will be working around young children.
- Be able to take inventory and stock the snack bar.
- Be available Monday-Friday from 5:00-8:30 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am -10:00 pm. (3 hour shifts)
Note: Snack bar workers can set their own hours by selecting those shifts that work best with their schedules.
