FNLL relies on volunteers for its success, with roles in leadership, coaching, and team support. All volunteers complete annual background checks and must reapply each season. New volunteers must submit a government-issued ID and Social Security number.
Volunteer Requirement
Each family must complete one (1) volunteer shift per season. You may opt out for $125 per player. All families are expected to assist with basic field clean-up after games.
Who’s Exempt?
Each team may designate the following official roles, which fulfill the volunteer requirement:
- 1 Manager
- Up to 2 Assistant Coaches
- 1 Team Parent
- 1 Scorekeeper
- 1 Field Prep Person
For AA+ divisions: If a junior umpire is unavailable, parents may step in. Doing so fulfills your seasonal volunteer requirement.
